Translation of Dairy Research for the Benefit of The Scottish Dairy Industry

The Hannah Dairy Research Foundation is considering an initiative to improve the translation of dairy research for the benefits of Scottish dairy industry. The first stage in this is a review of what stakeholders consider would benefit their business. HDRF is commissioning this review up to a maximum cost of £20,000 which should include:

  • Brief review of successful initiatives in UK and abroad.
  • Survey of key stakeholders including progressive farmers, veterinary surgeons, milk buyers and processors, supply industry.

Proposals will be evaluated on:

  • Experience of organisation in conducting this type of research
  • Proposal methodology
  • Cost and delivery milestones
